Below are some common questions and answers.

Getting Started

Are your bits professional grade?

Our screwdriver bits have been tested to outperform all of the leading screwdriver bit brands on the market making them suitable for industrial, professional and DIY jobs alike.

What are your bits made from?

All of our screwdriver bits are made from S2 steel which is a class of steel designed to have high impact resistance.

What’s the difference between an insert bit and a power bit?

Insert bits are shorter and require the use of a bit holder to secure them into the check of a power drill or impact driver. Power bits are longer and have a groove on the shank that allows them to be used in an impact driver or drill without the need for a bit holder.

What is a torsion zone?

The torsion zone is the reduced diameter section on the shaft of the bit. This area absorbs torque during impact to improve the life of the bit.

What are different bit lengths used for?

Longer bits are often used for hard to reach screws or fastening applications where there would be interference by the power tool. The longer length allows the bit to extend into the space to drive the screw while the power tool is held back at a distance.
